FULL CARE BOARDING
Sweet Reverie Farm was founded with the belief that providing individualized attention results in calm, healthy, and happy horses. Our goal is to create an environment where boarders can have peace of mind while at or away from the farm. We hold a strong appreciation for the human-animal bond and feel horses are at their best when being handled on a regular basis through consistent care and training. We recognize that some horse owners have very busy schedules and cannot always be at the farm; therefore, we offer these additional services in order to make sure the horses here remain safe and in good mental and physical condition.

LESSONS AND COACHING
Whether your goal is to make it down center line at the shows or to simply make the most out of each of your rides, Alexandra Saltonstall, Owner and Head Trainer at Sweet Reverie Farm is here to help! FITNESS AND TRAINING Alexandra works closely with her clients to create specific training and fitness programs for each horse. She consults closely with her veterinarians, equine chiropractor, farrier, and equine body worker to maintain and build the equine athletes she works with. At this time, Sweet Reverie Farm does not have school horses to offer lessons on, however we do welcome trailer-in lessons as well as offer offsite lessons and clinics depending on location. |
If you are someone who has struggled with “feel” or finding harmony during your ride, you must lesson with Ally! Not only is she an accomplished horsewoman, but her interdisciplinary grasp of body mechanics, riding theory, and wellness set her apart as an instructor. She is able to explain complicated topics in a simple, approachable way and her timing for instruction is incredible. Her respect for the horse and her dedication to their wellness is something that I wish I saw more of in the equestrian world.
In my first lesson with Ally, she made me rethink the foundational aspects of dressage without once making me feel less than the rider I thought I was. Instead, she challenged me to think through some of my bad habits and helped me navigate how the horse was responding to the subtle shifts in my position and seat. In following lessons, she expertly built on my previous rides always keeping me thinking, feeling, and challenged without ever pushing me to frustration or failure. During my time riding with Ally, my appreciation for the horse, the sport, and my own body have deepened. I cannot recommend her enough! ~FW
